Carlos Richmond

Cheer and Tumble Coach
All-Stars Cheer Director

Carlos,born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, began his journey to become an all-star coach by participating  in  competitive gymnastics at an early age of  7, competing at various levels.  After gymnastics, Carlos became a cheerleader and cheered his last 2 years of high school at Capital High in West Virginia.  He then went on to cheer at Marshal University for four years.  After graduating from Marshal with a B.S. in Education he opened his own cheerleading gym in St. Allban, West Virginia; Cheer Central All-Stars.  Carlos moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2005 where he began to work at Impact Athletics and became the director of recreational gymnastics, tumbling, and cheer classes.  He coached various cheerleading teams at Impact Athletics from 2006-2008.  In 2008 began to coach and choreograph at Carolina Legacy Cheer & Dance, Inc. where he has achieved several National Championships including a National Championship at NCA Dallas in 2011.  Carlos has also coached at a collegiate level for North Carolina State University; as well as competed at level 6 for Impact Athletics.  Carlos currently coaches Youth Gold, Junior Orange, Junior Black, Senior Green, Mini Hip-Hop, and Open 5.
Ashley Isaacs

Ashley is 23 years old with a B.S. in Marketing and Brand Management from North Carolina State University.  She has been involved in cheerleading and gymnastics for about 20 years.  She began as a competitive gymnast reaching level 9 by 2001.  She then began to cheer for Concord Middle School and Victory All-Stars in Concord, North Carolina.  She cheered for Victory All-stars from 2001-2006.  After middle school she went on to cheer for J.M. Robinson High School from her Freshman to Senior year.  After completing High School Ashley cheered on the NC State Coed team from 2006 to 2008.  Her coaching career started with coaching gymnastics in 2004 at Top Notch Gymnastics; she coached there until 2007.  She has also coached gymnastics at Impact Athletics in 2008 and then began her career at Carolina Legacy Cheer & Dance, Inc. in 2009 where she handles Marketing and Merchandising; and currently coaches Senior Green, Senior Lime, Junior Orange, and Open 5.

Ashley Colyer

Cheer Coach

Ashley has over 10 years of cheerleading experience. She cheered on the varsity squad at Cary High School and cheered competitively at Impact All Stars for 4 years. Her coaching career began with Southern Impact All Stars, which eventually lead her to Carolina Legacy. This will be her 6th year coaching and she has coached ages Tiny-Junior at levels 1-4. Her teams have won numerous nationals/awards and most recently she helped coach Carolina Legacy to achieve their first NCA National title.  Ashley currently coaches Mini Pink and Junior Black at CLA.
Kelsey Sebastian

Cheer and Dance Coach

Kelsey is 22 years old from Julian North Carolina with a B.S. in Fashion and Textile Management from North Carolina State University.  She has been cheering since 2000; beginning in middle school and cheering all the way through her Senior year of High School.  Kelsey is also a four time USA All American Cheerleader.  She was on the Hip-Hop Dance team her freshman through senior year of High School at Anda 5,6,7,8 Dance Studio.  Her career as a cheerleading coach began in 2003 where she coached recreational cheerleading until 2007.  Kelsey has been with Carolina Legacy Cheer & Dance since 2009; where she currently coaches our Youth Gold and Senior Hip-Hop teams.



Nicey Chavis

Cheer and Dance Coach

Nicey Chavis (Sanisia) has been involved with cheerleading in middle school and high school, and college. In 1994 she attended Spirit Xpress cheer camp, and was then chosen to participate in the Jeep Eagle Aloha Bowl (Honolulu, Hawaii). She has been coaching cheerleading since 2001 (Delta Force), Raleigh Rage, Southern Spirit Unlimited (merged)-Southern Impact 2006-2008, and most recently coached for Wake Forest All-stars 2008-2010. Very experienced coach in Hip Hop and Cheer. She took 1 year off from coaching and is now part of the Carolina Legacy Family for this upcoming season where she currently coaches our Junior Orange Team, Senior Lime, and Junior and Youth Hip-Hop Teams.
